This is a three-day art class working outdoors in Wiscasset with instructor Diane Dubreuil. Students will meet at the Maine Art Gallery at 9am on Monday, July 8, Tuesday, July 9, and Wednesday, July10, and then proceed to locations in Wiscasset until 12:30 each day.

Diane is an experienced plein air painter, with 20+ years painting around the world, and her sketchbooks are treasures.They are an invaluable tool which the artist uses to create her watercolor paintings, and they remain a great source for future new works. In this class, Diane will guide students in creating sketchbooks, helping them find the best way to start and master this important first step in creating a successful plein air work in any medium. Adults with beginner to intermediate skill levels are appropriate.
