Paint Wiscasset & Beyond, sponsored by the Maine Art Gallery, highlights 20 juried plein air artists from throughout Maine. Artists will paint at least one painting within the town of Wiscasset, but are free to paint anywhere in Lincoln County for the duration of the event. 



The Paint Wiscasset & Beyond plein air exhibit includes dry paintings by participating artists as well as their wet paintings, which have been added to the exhibit as completed, through the end of show on July 9. Awards were presented for Best of Show, Special Recognition, Honorable Mention Award, and People’s Choice during the opening reception on Saturday, June 17.

The exhibition runs Thursdays to Sundays, 11am - 4pm through Sunday, July 9.
