This hands-on workshop with paper artist, Joelle Webber, will teach attendees the basic tools, processes, and vocabulary of bookbinding including book anatomy, stitching, and making hard and soft covers. By the end of the workshop, students will feel encouraged to experiment with more book binding at home. BONUS: at the end of the class, Joelle will show students how to create three dimensional stars out of paper.

The skill level for the course is beginner, adults only; no prior experience is required. 

Instructor Joelle Webber is the owner of Mermaid Bindery and has extensive knowledge of bookmaking and paper folding techniques.
