In this workshop, students will learn the Long Stitch Book. Creating a multi gathering book, we will explore the importance of sewing station jigs in creating the text block and cover to sewing this book with a very long thread.

This is the third session of a 3-week series of book arts classes that cover various techniques and materials. While each class focuses on a different topic, students learn the basics of book binding vocabulary and a bit of book binding history in each session. Students register for each class separately and are encouraged to come to all three, but not necessary to attend this workshop.
