Intriquing Flowers Photography 2024 with Olga Merrill is a very special opportunity to work with a master photographer who will help train your eye to find amazing subtleties in flower photography as well as learn abstract techniques to take flower photography to the next level. Students will learn to pre-visualize images, compose flowers as abstract shapes, and understand how to design elements such as lines, shapes, and textures. Only five students will be in the class so that Olga can give each participant her personalized attention.

Instructor, Olga Merrill, is an award-winning Maine-based visual artist primarily using the medium of photography. She uses photography as a tool – like an instrument to make music or a brush for painting – to create an image of her vision, with a dreamy and indirect relationship to external reality. Merrill’s work has been part of group shows and festivals nationally and internationally.
