Expand your book binding skills and learn a new hand bound book technique! The French Sewn continues our exploration of the book form, this class reinforces the vocabulary of book anatomy, the tools needed for hand book binding, and material considerations for making beginner book structures. The French Sewn book is stitched onto tabs that will be laced into a folded paper cover. Historically these hand stitched patterns would have been hidden by covers, but we will make them a decorative element of our books. All tools and materials needed for the class will be provided.
