Join the Garden Club of Wiscasset for a presentation about ‘Compost and Biochar’ by Peter Arnold. Biochar is a carbon-rich product. Arnold will discuss the basics of compost and Biochar. He is a longtime gardener and GCW member who has researched and studied Biochar. His use of compost and Biochar in his own garden has provided incredible results.

The program begins at 1pm, following the garden club’s business meeting, in Fellowship Hall, First Congregational Church, 28 High St., Wiscasset. (the big white church at the top of the Common). Refreshments follow the presentation. The public is invited free of charge and no advance notice is required.
